Award-winning painter Julia McNally works as a fine art and live event painter.  Based in Michigan, she travels to destinations worldwide.  She captures the joy of ceremonies, receptions, and other events by rhythmically balancing loose yet accurate brushwork with a bold, energetic color palette.  Her emergence into live wedding painting naturally transpired from her passion for figurative and urban oil painting.

Julia's style has evolved over the years while continuing to be inspired by the scenes that surround her.  Whether it is people at work or play, or light reflecting off a coffee cup at the local cafe, Julia eagerly awaits the opportunity to translate the unusually usual scene into a vibrant painting on canvas.  Her well-known reflection series paintings are a representation of just that - our shared experiences in and around the city.

While she loves the process of turning a blank canvas into a captivating work of art, she also enjoys working closely with clients on commissioned pieces.  She feels it is important to speak with her clients throughout the painting process to ensure the finished product is one they will cherish forever!

 

Collectors of Julia's work span the US and abroad, from Los Angeles to New York, Miami to Seattle, and most recently Dubai.  Julia received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with High Honors from Michigan State University.

In addition to painting, Julia enjoys traveling, going to museums, and experiencing all of life's greatest joys with her husband, baby boy, and Havanese.  She loves to make new connections, so say hello!
